Our 5th grade year will including the following curricula:

 Rod & Staff Grammar (5) and Math (5), Abekka World History & Geography (5), Steck Vaughn "Maps, Globes, & Graphs" (F), Bob Jones University Spelling (5), Hey Andrew! Teach Me Some Greek (5), Typing, Abekka Physical Creation adapted (9),  Bob Jones University Old Testament Study (6), and Rod & Staff Music Theory (4-6).  Supplemental material will include guitar lessons with Mom's compositions and Mel Bay books, Training Hearts & Teaching Minds by Starr Meade (Westminster Catechism), William Wilberforce: God's Politician by John Holzmann, The Story of Eli Whitney by Jean Lee Latham, World War I: The War to End Wars by Zachary Kent, and Christian Liberty Press' "The Story of Inventions" by Michael J. McHugh & Frank Bachman.

It'll be a fun but challenging year!  Solomon is signed up to play basketball with the local Upward league.  He'll love the interaction with the 150 children on the league in our county.  He's interested in playing soccer as well so we'll see about sign ups for that soon.
