1. Total Depravity--This means that mankind is totally wicked and evil, having no desire for God. (Genesis 6:5, Psalm 14:1-3, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:10-18) 2. Unconditional Election--This means that God saves sinful men, and there is nothing special about them. He saves them based solely upon His good pleasure and choice, not because there is anything in them worth saving. (Acts 13:48, Romans 9:15-18, 1 Corinthians 1:30-31, 2 Timothy 1:8-9) 3. Limited Atonement--This means that Jesus' sacrifice was perfect and effective for all those people for whom He died, His chosen people, those elected before the foundation of the world. (Matthew 1:21, John 10:11-15, Acts 20:28, Hebrews 9:15) 4. Irresistible Grace --This means that God overcomes the resistance of evil men to grant them saving belief in Himself. (John 6:37, Romans 6:17, Jeremiah 24:7)
(John 10:27-30, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5, 2 Timothy 4:18)

| "But you do not believe because you are not My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one." (John 10:26-30) |
